David Harris

David Harris is a theatre maker and game designer who lives in Melbourne, Australia. He has performed across Australia in various companies including The Dig Collective, City Pigeons, In the Park Productions and One Step at a Time Like This. David Harris has performed in Melbourne International Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival, Mudfest, FAST, Fresh Air Festival and Harvest Festival touring his work.

David has an honours degree at the Victorian College of the Arts, writing a thesis on interactive theatre, ethics and discomfort.

David worked with Theatro de los Sentidos on the show Echo of the Shadow for the Melbourne Festival 2016 program, where he was an associate artists.

Alongside theatre, David is a keen game designer. He lectures at Swinbrune University, and has taught at Hiedie Museum of Modern Art.

David has toured his theories and passion having talked at festivals including; Freeplay Festival - 2015, 2019. PaxAus - 2016, 2019, New Zealand's Play by Play - 2016 and GCAP - 2018.
